Eula Jean Lancaster's Obituary
Eula Jean Lancaster, age 89 of Irving TX, went home to her Lord and Savior on Monday February 20th, 2017. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, proud great-grandmother and friend by all that knew and loved her. She was born May 3rd, 1927 in Quinlan, TX to parents Hattie Ray Boatwright Shockely and James Ewell Shockley. She was a loving wife of 55 years to John Curtis Lancaster until 2003 when he was called home to Glory. Jean worked for Hart’s furniture for 40 years, she loved her family, enjoyed traveling, would remind you not to call while she was watching “The Wheel”, and always wore a smile. She was kind, often very generous and seldom met a stranger. Our GG will be dearly missed. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Shirley Jean & spouse Dennis Woodson, son Ronney Ray Lancaster, grandchildren Ben Woodson & spouse Sheri, Angie Moses & spouse Michael, great-grandchildren Katie & Ivy Palin and Ethan & Sadie Woodson. A graveside service for Eula Lancaster will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Restland Memorial Park with a visitation from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM before the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
