Eulice Castol HowellBorn May 19, 1929 Dallas,TX, left his earthly life on Nov 26, 2018 in Paris,TX.He was preceded in death by his parents Sidney C. Howell and Miltie M. Burnett, his wife of 45 years Mary F. Howell and his son Sidney E. Howell and his stepdaughter Mary E. Weaver.He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia D. Goode, his son Rickey W. Howell, stepdaughter Kathy C. Crouch and stepson Kyle Creel. 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.He was an only child and grew up working with his dad on their small farm and at the family owned Howell’s Texaco Station & Garage in Pleasant Grove, Dallas. His father taught him a very good work ethic and therefore he found it hard to have a lot of fun with his family that he loved. His mother passed away when he was only 11 months old.He joined the US Navy after graduating high school and he served his country during the Korean War from 1947-1953. He was so glad for the experience of being in the Navy and the opportunity to visit other countries during the time he served.After retiring from Oak Farm Dairies in 1986 he and Mary moved to Paris, Tx and were able to enjoy some traveling. He enjoyed reading books and they both attended First Christian Church in Paris, Tx.“Thy will I choose; I give to TheeAll of the life Thou gavest me;Thy will I choose, no life I askExcept to do Thy given task”A funeral service will take place on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside will follow in the Court of Trinity in Restland Cemetery.
