Euline Penny Loafman's Obituary
Euline Penny Loafman An amazing, sweet soul has departed this earth. We announce the passing of Euline Penny Loafman. Born December 8, 1922, she passed on the morning of April 2, 2016. Her family and friends remember her with love and miss her sweet laughter. Euline is preceded in death by her mother Dussie Jarman Tunnell, her father Starling Andrew Tunnell, her husband Vernon Penny, later by her husband Doyle Loafman, her son, Peter Mark Stark, and her brother Lamon Bruce Tunnell. Euline is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Lynne Prawdzik and her husband Stanley Prawdzik, her daughter-in-law Dina Stark, her step-daughter Eva Fletcher and husband Joe Fletcher, her sister Patricia Ann Sawyer and husband Dempsey Sawyer, her brother Freddie Andrew Tunnell and wife Ann Tunnell, her grandchildren Michael Todd Hudson and wife Sherri Hudson, Ryan Key and wife Stephanie Jones Key, Sterling Stark Cuevas and husband Chris Cuevas, Markie Stark, her great-grandchildren Zeck Allozi, Ashley Hudson, Sophia Elise Cuevas, Jacob Stark Cuevas, Ryder Key, Skylee Key, Kaden Key, Jacetan Garner and Daylor Garner, her nephews Steven Andrew Moore, Guy Morgan Moore, Kirk Andrew Tunnell, Kimberly Bruce Tunnell, and her niece Dena LeAnn Tunnell Harris, plus numerous great-nephews, and great-nieces. Euline’s 93 years were filled with family, work, and in later years, travel. Family: It can be safely said that she doted on her grandchildren who lovingly know her as their Meme. Euline was well known for her culinary talent. Her dressing and fruit salad will be greatly missed, among other favored dishes. Work: She had a long career with Texas Instruments, Inc., then worked with her sister Patricia to build and prosper Patricia’s professional liability insurance agency. Travel: Her daughter Lynne took her on her first cruise ship. She and Patricia enjoyed trips to Hawaii and later a trip to Hong Kong that included Patricia’s husband Dempsey. She loved to laugh, a trait handed down from her mother, Dussie. For those who may not know, shoes were Euline’s weakness; we think there are hundreds. We just hope they wear shoes in Heaven or she will be sorely disappointed! Euline had many honorable traits, not the least of which was the dignity she showed the past year as her health continued to fail. Euline is deeply loved and, while we know she has gone to be with her loving God, we cannot help but miss her. Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 at 12:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
