Eva E Nordstrom's Obituary
Eva or Rita as she was known by some left her pain and suffering behind on Tuesday, August 11. Born in 1924 she graced us with ninety two years. She was the baby of eight siblings and the last of her lineage. She is survived by daughter, C.J. Foster of Garland; son, Jay of Dallas; and granddaughter, Kama Winn of Crane Texas. An avid Cowboys fan who hated it when Tom Landry was fired sent letters on a weekly basis on what was wrong in the organization but never missed watching a game. Most knew her as a successful business woman who never held back an opinion even if not asked for one. She loved God, life, family and people. Her Cadillac was named Baby and she always said that the car talked to her and let her know if something was wrong and it was a very traumatic time when she had to stop her daily drives where she dressed up just to go to Braums or I hop or just to kill time around the neighbor hood. A visitation will be held at Restland Memorial Park on Friday evening from six to eight pm and burial service will be held Saturday at Restland Wildwood Chapel at three pm. The family would also like to thank the staff and management of Signature Point on the Lake for the unwavering amount of love and care that she received there for the past six years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer’s foundation or any armed forces organization of your choice.
