She is survived by her sons, Chester Lane Owens Jr., Richard Peters Owens and wife, Cindy; daughter,Rebecca Ann Owens; three grandchildren, Regina Williams and husband, David, Lane Owens and wife Michelle, Amy Owens; great-grandchildren, David Williams, Jessica Williams, Jordon Owens, Adyson Owens; one great-great grandchild, Andrew Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Owens Sr.; parents, Tom and Rinda Peters; brother, Basil Peters, sister, Edith Stone.
