Eva was a wonderful person. I was always impressed by her wisdom. Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay awhile, make footprints on our hearts and we are never, ever the same A wonderful Jacksboro TX classmate of '71. She will be missed. May you take comfort in knowing an Angel is watching over you. "Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer."
Eva and I worked at the City of Plano together as Customer Service Rep's for about 8 years. Sitting so close to each other 5 days a week we shared a lot of things, had good moments and bad moments. I was so sad to hear that her cancer had come back and wish I had kept in touch with her. David and Evan, her funeral ROCKED ! It was totally what Eva would have wanted and my thoughts and prayers are with both of you in this very difficult time in your lives. Goldie
I was so very sad to hear of Eva's passing. We worked together at the City of Plano and she was a spit fire for sure. She was an amazing woman who always had something interesting to say or share. She loved finding unique things on the internet and then showing them to people she thought would be interested. She was a loving co-worker who showed compassion for those who were hurting or in need. (She dug those mighty thumbs into my back one time and cured a pain that I thought would never go away!) I knew then that she was still battling the scars and injury that cancer had caused, yet she kept moving forward with all that she had. Thank you Lord for sharing Eva with us. She was unique and special and will not be forgotten. My prayers and condolences to those who were clesest to her.
The only one who really, truly understood me for who I am. I will miss the ability to be able to just call her and have her say the right thing. I love you aunt Eva. joe
