Eva Lynn Reid's Obituary
REID, EVE “LYNN” 88, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away unexpectedly into God’s caring arms on June 6, 2014. She was born on October 14, 1925 in Dallas Texas. Lynn lived most of her life in Dallas, graduating from Sunset High School in 1943. She was a long time member at The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas. She worked as a homemaker, bank teller, mapping technician, retail and receptionist, retiring at age 83. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Reid; son, William A. Reid and daughter, Rebecca Lynn Reid; her parents; sister, Honey Scott; brothers, Louie, Preston, and Alan Mathews. Lynn is survived by her son, Randy Reid and wife, Bernadette of Coppell, TX; granddaughter, Lauren Reid Neaves and husband, Ricardo of Keller, TX; grandson, Matthew Reid and wife, Maria of Lubbock, TX; great grandson, Cruz Neaves; sister, Lula Goswick, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Memorial Chapel, Restland Cemetery, Dallas, Texas, with Reverend Darrell Grice presiding with internment to follow. Family will receive friends on Monday June 9, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
