‘EVE’, Born January 23, 1918 in Wichita KS and passed away on May 30, 2008. A resident of Dallas since 1948, Eve was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Whitmore in 1994. She was a longtime member of Highland Park Presbyterian Read Obituary
Eve was a valuable member of the Archives volunteer team. Her experience as a photographer made her the perfect person to organize all the slides that were given to the church Archives. Her smiling face and fun attitude about life will be greatly missed.
Although I only knew Eve in name only, I wish I could have met her and experienced the joy she apparently gave to so many people she loved. I pray that God will bless Eve's family with happy memories of how she sprinkled her life into theirs. The money she donated to Friends has and will continue to benefit the many talented students, especially those in the area of Fine Arts. We lived next door to the Whitmores for almost 15 years. It was our first house and they were there to help new homeowners understand what it was all about. Ross and Eve were great neighbors and even better people.
