Evelyn Hill Dorsett's Obituary
Evelyn Hill Dorsett, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Grand Prairie, Texas. She celebrated 92 years on this Earth. Evelyn was born on July 18, 1926 to her parents: George Augustine and Willie Maude (Weber) Hill in Floresville, TX. She married John R. Dorsett on June 28, 1948 in Floresville, Texas and she enjoyed her career in teaching for over 15 years. Evelyn Hill Dorsett was a member of First United Methodist Church of Grand Prairie and was instrumental in starting the Prayer Ministry, Grand Prairie Food and Clothing Coop, Meals on Wheels and the Spring Valley United Methodist Church Bazaar. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Dorsett Jr. Survivors: her daughter, Donna Gail Wills of Grand Prairie, TX; sons: John Russel Dorsett III of Houston, TX and Mark Hill Dorsett of Austin, TX.; her grandchildren: Airon Alease Wills, PhD of Austin, TX, Clayton Ray Wills, DDS of San Antonio, TX, John Russel Dorsett IV of Austin, TX and Lydia Alanna Dorsett of Houston, TX; her great grandchild, Nolan Ray Wills and many other loving family memebers and friends.Services: a graveside service for Evelyn Hill Dorsett will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018Funeral arrangements for Jewel Doris Williamson have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111
