Evelyn Inez Williams Glenn Obituary Evelyn Inez Williams Glenn, affectionately known as “Nevie or Nembie” born November 26, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the union of the late Katherine Delores Bolden and Carroll Nathan Williams and was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana where most of her fond life memories were made with her family.
She peacefully entered into her eternal rest on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in Richardson, Texas at the age of 79. She was a proud graduate of St. Mary’s Academy High School of New Orleans, Louisiana and later went on to expand her career in Telecommunications with AT&T formerly known as BellSouth Communications for numerous and she retired after over 30 years of service. Her career led her to travel all over the country, manage and lead many teams to their own individual level of success, undoubtedly Evelyn was a true leader.
She went on to settle with her family in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. After her retirement from AT&T, she extended her employment career with Region 10 Education Service Center of Richardson, Texas. The eldest of 5 sisters, Evelyn was the first to accept Jesus Christ into her heart at an early age at St. Joseph Baptist Church of Marrero, Louisiana where she and her sisters were dutiful and devoted members of the church and community. Everyone knew “Katherine and Cal’s Girls”.
She leaves behind to cherish her wonderful memories, her daughter e’lan MariKathryn Glenn. Her grandsons Phoenix Tre’ce and Nathan Reese Glenn. Her caring ex-husband Lonnie Glenn, Sr., her sister Althea Denise Williams Roussell (Donald) and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Patricia Elaine Williams Thompson, Constance Marie Williams, and Theresa Yvonne Williams Coleman.
