Evelyn Julia Keith's Obituary
All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances…
Julia Keith exited stage left on Sunday, Dec 26th, 2021. In her 87 years, Julia played many roles throughout her life. She was a Las Vegas Slot Machine Queen and a World Traveler with a fondness for adventure. She loved the theater and would often go to see the same play many times taking others to enjoy it with her. She knew how to throw a fun party and make everyone feel special. Julia played every part by living her life in full technicolor, adding joy and laughter to so many people along the way.
Her most treasured roles however, was a mother to Merrie Goguen and Elizabeth Keith, a Grandmother to Joshua, Jonathan, Jack, Ben and Tori and the Great-Grandmother of Phoenix, Julianne, Ladon, Liberty and Gryphon. She was the fun eccentric aunt, the loyal sister and loving daughter.
A close second was the role of a friend. Julia would bring you into her world and make sure you wanted to stay. She collected and maintained friendships from years ago to the current day making each person know they were important to her.
As much as we want to honor Julia Keith’s life on the world stage, she would want to thank everyone she loved for the part they played in her life, making her the star we now celebrate.
Donations can be made in her memory to her endowment The Gryphund. https://www4.texashealth.org/donate/donate.aspx
