Evelyn A (Schulze) Norman's Obituary
Heaven welcomed a new angel September 12th 2023.
Evelyn A (Schulze) Norman was born in Seguin, TX, the daughter of Ella and Eugene Schulze.
Evelyn attended the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, TX where she met her beloved husband John (Bert) Norman. Evelyn and Bert were married on January 21st, 1956, and had 3 lovely daughters Jane (Gerry) Crouch, Peggy (Steve) Kimball and Joy (Jayson) Henry.
After Evelyn and Bert were married, they moved to Dallas, TX and lived in Dallas for almost 50 years. Evelyn was a wife and homemaker for many years and once the girls were older, she went to work in the Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD where she worked for 24 years until she retired to take care of her husband.
Evelyn was a member of the Pipeline Church of Christ in Hurst and also Highland Oaks Church of Christ in Dallas until they moved to Malakoff Texas, they transferred their membership to the Eastern Hills Church of Christ in Athens Texas until they relocated to Pearland Texas and transferred their membership to the Southeast Church of Christ.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Laura Mae Gerdes, brother-in-law George, brother Elroy Schulze and sister-in-law Kathryn and sister-in-law Verlyn Schulze.
Evelyn is survived by her husband of 67 years, brother Arnold Schulze, 5 grandchildren - Matthew Crouch, Shannon (Joe) Williams, Danielle (Kelly) Cameron, Chad (Rachael Beth) Henry and Brian (Bronwyn) Henry and 7 great-grandchildren (with another great-grandchild on the way) along with many nieces and nephews.
