Evelyn Schepps' Obituary
Schepps, Evelyn Evelyn DuBois of Dallas left this life on August 31, 2010 in Odessa, Texas. Evelyn was born on April 16, 1916 in Fort Towson, Oklahoma. Evelyn was the sixth of seven children of George Thomas Crews and Mary Minnie Ferqueron. All of whom have predeceased her. She is survived by two sons, Richard Louis DuBois and Gregory Thomas DuBois, four grandchildren, Kevin, Timothy, Michelle and Ryan and was the aunt of Mary Ann Wilson of Dallas, Robert Jones of Fort Meyers, Florida and Susan Bailey of Austin. Evelyn was married twice. The first marriage was with Rene Louis DuBois with whom she had her two sons. After Rene’s death in 1959, Evelyn married George Schepps, in 1964, and was happily married for 34 years. Evelyn was a founding member of Bethany Christian Church of Dallas. Service will be held at Bethany Christian Church at 12:00pm on September 4, 2010. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. Respects may be made at Restland Friday evening prior to the service from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
