SHIVERS, EVELYN J. Born October 30, 1922 in Floresville, TX and passed away September 16, 2008 in Dallas, TX. Evelyn retired from Mercantile National Bank and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, J.T. Shivers, Jr. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Ken Shivers and wife, Melody and Robert Shivers and wife, Letris; grandchildren, Jinae Stone and husband, Eric, and Wayne Shivers; great grandchildren, Colby, Parker and Preston Stone; sister, Welma Cobb and brother, Walter Schroeder. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 1:30 PM, Friday, September 19, 2008 at Restland Abbey Chapel with interment to follow at Grove Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Visiting Nurses Association of Texas Meals-On-Wheels, 1440 W. Mockingbird Lane, Ste. 500, Dallas, TX 75247.
