Evelyn Bernice Slaughter's Obituary
Born July 6, 1926 in Archbold, Ohio to George and Frieda Schardt. Passed away October 6, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William A. Slaughter. Also preceded in death by her brother George Schardt and her parents. She is survived by her children, Reid and wife Anne of Flower Mound, Renee and husband Kevin Harris of Rowlett. She leaves behind three grandsons: Patrick and Nathan Slaughter, and Luke Harris. She also leaves behind her sister, Norma Pratho of Denton, and her caregiver of 8 years, Brenda Gardner. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM, Thursday October 9, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held at 1PM Friday October 10, 2008 at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 6411 LBJ, Dallas, TX 75240. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to King of Glory Lutheran Church.
