Evelyn Rinas Smith born March 2, 1924 in Egeland, ND passed away Feb. 1, 2016 in Dallas, TX. Preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Smith; parents, Adolph and Albertina Rinas; siblings, Otto Rinas, Elsie Sloan, Bruno Rinas, Edna “Rusty” Urban, Art Rinas, Hugo Rinas, Lois Curry. She is survived by sons, Randy Smith and wife, Sue of Joaquin, TX, Kent Smith and wife, Mary Orr Alcock of Dallas ; granddaughter, Megan Smith of Dallas; grandson, Jacob Smith of Dallas; siblings, Ray Rinas of Kansas City and Aggie Rinas Haley of Mansfield, OH. Evelyn was a Navy Veteran of World War II. The visitation for Evelyn Smith will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Evelyn will be held on Friday February 5, 2016 at 3:00 PM at in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
