Evelyn Edna Warren's Obituary
88, of Dallas, Texas, passed away December 27, 2008. She was born February 1, 1920, in Henderson County, Texas to Jakie J. France and Helen Leotis Leath France. She was the oldest of six children. Ms. Warren married Lowell W. Warren of Maybank, TX, who precedes her in death. They made their home in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas. Ms. Warren is also preceded in death by two of her siblings, a sister, Ms. Voleta France of Dallas and a brother, James Paul France of Mesquite. She is survived by a brother, Jakie J. France Jr. of Desoto, TX, and two sisters, Wyiona Huddleson of Murphy, TX, and Helen Carr and brotherin- law Roy of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a number of friends. Ms. Warren pioneered the way for professional women entering the business world by working to develop and pursue computer technology at Mobile Oil and Cotton Producers of Texas. She also worked as a medical receptionist. Ms. Warren’s interest included a deep appreciation and fondness for nature, both animal and plant life. She was particularly interested in birds and small animals. She was also very involved in the lives of her family members and friends, and she enjoyed cooking. Romans 8:23,31- “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. If God is for us, who can be against us?”
