Everette L. Mcgrew's Obituary
MCGREW, EVERETTE L. Born April 28, 1923 in Grady, New Mexico and passed away August 24, 2008 in Wolfe City, TX. He served in the U.S. Navy as an aviator in World War II and then graduated from Southern Methodist University. After retiring as an accountant from Sun Oil Company, he enjoyed spending time at his ranch in Wolfe City, TX. He was preceded in death by his wives, Patricia Louise McGrew and Frances Cordell McGrew and grandson, Ashley Todd McGrew. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Anne McGrew and sons, Patrick McGrew and David McGrew; daughter, Cecelia McGrew Irvan; 6 grandchildren, Erin McGrew Herndon and husband, Jim, Patrick Ryan McGrew and wife, Jodi, Christopher McGrew and Wesley Irvan; great grandchildren, Bryson Joshua McGrew and Brendan Ryan McGrew; sister, Lou Ellen Clapp and numerous other family members. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, August 28, 2008 in Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, August 29, 2008 at White Rock United Methodist Church, 1450 Old Gate Lane, Dallas, TX 75218. Memorials may be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, 600 W. 11th Avenue, Amarillo, TX 79101.
