Evia Leola Fountain's Obituary
EVIA L. FOUNTAIN formerly of Longview, TX. Evia went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in Dallas, TX at the age of 67. She was born December 19, 1941 in Gilmer, TX. Evia graduated from Spring Hill High School, Longview, TX and was a member of First Baptist Church and Mrs. Criswell’s Sunday School Class, Dallas, TX. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. Evia received much pleasure in doing for others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Evia Fountain; sister, Helen Fountain Phillips and brother, Ronnie Fountain. Evia is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 11 years, Jimmie Fountain; sons, Keith Woodall and wife, Sherry, of Garland, TX and Kelly Hambright and wife, Iris, of Mesquite, TX; step-sons, Jeff Fountain of Oakland, CA and Jay Fountain and wife, Kathy, of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Clint, Lauren, Jacob and Kaylie Hambright of Mesquite, TX and Jamie and Cristopher Woodall of Garland, TX; step-grandchildren, Mari Ann Ezpeleta, of Mesquite, TX, West and April Regan of Garland, TX and Jaidyn and Kaidyn Fountain of Dallas, TX; brothers, Herman Fountain and wife, Polly, of Longview, TX and Buford Fountain and wife, Wilma, of Gilmer, TX; sisters, Hazel Frey and husband, Robert, of Harker Heights, TX and Virginia Luman and husband, Monroe, of Kilgore, TX. Evia is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Jack Washington, Chaplain, Nurses, and Aides from Trinity Hospice. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 3:00 PM, Friday, June 5, 2009 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with Dr. Lamar Cooper officiating. Pallbearers are Bruce Fountain, Craig Fountain, John Frey, Gaylon Hull, Steve Sherwood and Kevin Williams. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Building Fund, Dallas, TX or Trinity Hospice Foundation, Dallas, TX.
