Faith Elaine Smith, went home to be with our Lord on January 12, 2018.Faith Elaine Smith, was born July 10, 1939 in Wellington, Kansas to Ivan and Lois Whitten, living most of her adult life in Texas.She enjoyed creating beautiful things: jewelry, flowers, and dolls. She had a fashion sense that was all her own, and often designed her own things. She also loved to knit. Faith always listened to people, and was a caring and compassionate person who always put the needs of her family before her own.More than anything, she loved studying the Bible and was an avid student of God’s word.She is survived by her children, Theresa Walker, Lisa Baxter and her husband, Robert, Melissa Marshall and her husband, Pat Garrett, Steve Salsbury and his wife, Monti; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Douglas Whitten and his wife, Cindy; and her longtime companion, L.D. Glady.Visitation will take place on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Euless, 1000 Airport FWy, Euless, TX 75039
