Faith and Bob were early members of the Christian Community of God’s Delight since 1971, a Catholic outreach to those seeking to experience more of the intercession and gifts of the Holy Spirit.Faith founded the Mother Mary Deaf Group in Dallas. This group was formed to help the Catholic deaf community’s needs and to grow. Faith learned American Sign Language to serve this need. The Mission Helpers of the Sacred Heart Order opened their three-story home for the group to meet for prayer, Catholic Study and Mass. Bishop Gorman, D.D., recognized the group as part of the Dallas Diocese and assigned Fr. Dan Clayton in 1978 as Spiritual Director. Several years later, Faith was nominated and awarded the Holy Trinity Medal of Honor from the Vatican for her Catholic evangelization efforts among the deaf of Dallas.Faith also facilitated and conducted an Intercessory Prayer Group and Bible Study, after being asked by the Christian Community of God’s Delight, led in her home for ten years in the late 70s-80s, where many women, led by the Holy Spirit, were ministered to, and as a result, many prayers were answered. Praise the Lord!Faith and Bob also worked along with the Diocese of Dallas and St. Bernard of Clairvaux to minister to the Cuban refugees from the CubanRebellion.
