Fanny Lestari Muliadi's Obituary
Fanny Lestari Muliadi of Garland, Texas passed away in her bed at Texas Health Harris Methodist Alliance in Ft. Worth on March 3, 2021 due to respiratory complications and kidney failure from COVID-19. She was 69.
Ms. Muliadi was born on June 8, 1951 in Jakarta, Indonesia to her parents, Amatus and Margaretha Muliadi. Seeking a better opportunity, she immigrated to Garland, Texas with her parents and younger brother in 1976 and became a US citizen in 1982. She worked night shifts in electronics assembly plants and later in supportive healthcare while supporting her parents and younger brother.
At the time of her passing, Ms. Muliadi provided patient care and vitals monitoring at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. She also provided care and support for her younger brother and a home for stray dogs. Like many fans, she had a love-hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys.
Ms. Muliadi is survived by her older sister and brother-in-law Rony and Oen Gwie; her older brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Lenny Muliadi; her younger brother Danny Muliadi; and (8) nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Amatus and Margaretha Muliadi, and her older brother Eddie Muliadi.
Ms. Muliadi will be buried in a private ceremony on March 17, 2021. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 17 at 12:00 PM at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ms. Muliadi’s life.
