Faydell Johnson's Obituary
JOHNSON, FAYDELL JOE, of Cedar Creek Lake, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2007, in Kaufman. Mrs. Johnson was born on January 8, 1924 in Madison County, Texas, to Boydell and Faye Edwards. Faydell attended Post and Olney High Schools and later Texas Tech University. She was active in both local and statewide politics in both Florida and Texas, serving as an election judge, and also known as an avid bridge player. Faydell is survived by three sons, Robert Johnson, Jr. and wife Gay, of Dallas, TX, Bill Johnson, and wife Donna of Scurry, TX, and Joel Johnson, and wife Suzanne of Brownwood, TX; one sister, Marian Fox of Prescott, AZ; one brother, Bill Edwards of Royse City, TX; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert S. Johnson. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM, Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at Restland Wildwood Chapel, Friday, February 2, 2007 at 10 AM. Memorials may be made to the “Friends of the Animals”, Gun Barrell City, TX 75156 (903) 451-4600.
