Faye H. Van Zandt's Obituary
of Garland, Texas was born September 5, 1928 and passed away on October 27, 2007 in Trenton, Texas after a short illness. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Chester VanZandt and grandson, Cale Alan Sands. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Richard Hunter; granddaughter Lark Sands; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Justin Holder; sister Evelyn Howard; brother Wayne Harris; and nephew Marcus Howard. Faye was a caring person who enjoyed helping others. A long-time member of First Baptist Church of Garland, she served in the Praise Singers Senior Adult Choir and in the CBS Bible Class. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Restland Memorial Park.
