I first spent time with Felicia when she was about four, almost five. I had seen Felicia and Ashton with Lisa a few times when she would come by work with the girls, but this was an opportunity to get to know them both. An experience that left a lasting impression.
Lisa had brought Felicia and Ashton to my new home, a little duplex in Sachse. The landlord had made me a deal if I painted the walls prior to moving in, so there was a paint party. Felicia and Ashton got in on the fun sticking their hands, maybe their feet in the paint, and then onto the walls. Felicia’s ethereal presence was awe inspiring to experience. It was also evident the two girls had a special bond that touched the heart.
I had not seen much of Felicia in many years but in the last couple of years Lisa and I reconnected. I was able to care for Felicia a few times while Lisa and Rick went out of town. Felicia’s unique spirit was still shining as it had in 1989, when we first met. You know your life has been blessed when you meet one of God’s angels. Felicia is one of God’s most precious, unique angels.
