Dr. Felix West “Goombah” Fenter passed away peacefully on April 1, 2023 in his home in Irving, TX surrounded by family and loved ones at the age of 96. He was preceded in death by his wife Raye Moore Fenter and is survived by his Read Obituary
Dr. Fenter was a brilliant individual whom I had the good fortune to support while working at the LTV Research Center and Advanced Technology Center.
Felix led a very significant life, both professionally and personally. As a neighbor, I always marveled that his home was meticulously kept and beautifully decorated on holidays for all to enjoy. He was so proud of his family as they were of him. Rest in Peace. You will be missed.
Dr. Fenter was so engaging in conversation to all...children and adults. And, when he spoke you wanted to listen and learn. He had a sense of humor too as I remember him coming off the golf course one late night, in mummy form, to scare us girls at one of Susan's slumber parties. He got us! So now he is with Mrs. Fenter. May he rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to the Fenter and Shiakolas families.
