Fern Edna Harper's Obituary
Born February 20, 1914 in Elgin, Nebraska left us June 1, 2007. This amazing, wonderful woman lived her very special life of 93 years with compassion, love of friends, love of life and her family. She left this world having made it a better place for all who knew her – she touched the lives of so many. She leaves behind her son Jack Harper and his wife Anne, her daughter Sally Cobaugh and her husband Gene, adored grandchildren Brent Flannery and his wife Donna, Craig Flannery and his wife Mary, brother Don Schwab and wife Doris, sister-in-law Gertie Schwab, brother-in-law Tom Orzalli, nephew Jim Kragness and niece Joan Bergstrom. Her special friends, Theresa Sweeney, members of Sally’s Book Club, and the “Lakewood Lushes”. Special thanks to her doctor John Lavery for the kind and special care he gave over the past years. As her son Jack said “I can’t imagine a world without Fernie in it.” Because we knew you we have been changed.
