Florence Levine Cronkrite's Obituary
Florence L. Cronkrite was born on April 29, 1915, in Cuero, Texas, to David and Lannie Estes. After a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease she passed away on August 23rd at the age of 95. On July 11, 1931 she joined in marriage with Kenneth Cronkrite. Florence and Kenneth lived their married life in Dallas, Carrollton, and Frisco. After Kenneth’s death in January of 1992, Florence moved to Irving. For the last five years, she was a resident of Avante Care and Rehabilitation Center. Florence is survived by three children, Delores Morrow of Frisco, Billy Cronkrite of Hurst, and Deborah Geary of Dallas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, along with 3 nephews and 5 nieces. She is preceded in death by Kenneth, her husband of 61 years; grandson, Bobby Cronkrite; brother, Chester Estes; two sisters, Lottie Schram and Ethel Butcher; and nephew, Don Estes.
