Florene H. Waters' Obituary
Waters, Florene (Flo) Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 14, 2010. Flo was born on august 23, 1922 in Buffalo, Texas to Oliver and Callie Horn. She was a member of Pleasant Mound United Methodist Church for 60 years and was devoted to her faith. She retired from Texas Instruments in 1982 after 23 years of service. She is survived by one brother, Richard R. Horn of Houston, Texas; two sisters: Mable Durant of Nacogdoches, Texas and Joann Ruedlinger of Quinlan, Texas; three children: Linda Kaye Valerio of Garland, Texas, Robert L. Waters of Canton, Texas, and Roy E. Waters of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren: Bart W. Mills, Sharon R. Dyer, Zachery Waters, and Charlie Waters; and six great-grandchildren: Rachel, Erick, Lucas, Corbin, Clay, and Canyon. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, H. Leroy Waters. Two brothers, Robert and Winifred Horn. Flo was a true inspiration to all that knew and loved her. Family will recieve guests on Monday August 16, 2010 from 5 to 8PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:00AM on Tuesday August 17, 2010 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Interment to follow in Restland Memorial Park.
