Florine J Voelker's Obituary
Florine J. Voelker, 89, devoted and beloved wife and mother, sister (“Flossie”), Mimi/Grandma, and dear friend, died peacefully on July 2, 2022, while in Hospice. (Note: Obituary was delayed until sale of family home.) Florine was an excellent cook/baker, loved to garden, and an avid Bridge player in many Fort Worth clubs. Florine is preceded in death by: mother, Cecilia Wainwright, Belleville, IL; husband of 45 years, USAF Col. Robert G. Voelker, Fort Worth, TX; and son, Stephen R. Voelker, Frisco, TX. Left to grieve are: daughters Karen S. Voelker, Boston, MA, and Kathryn A. LeBlanc, Apopka, FL; three grandchildren, Lauren E. LeBlanc, Tampa, FL, Robert A. Voelker, FL, Stephen D. Voelker, AZ, and one great-grandchild, Brynlee S. Kutza, Tampa, FL; sister, Evelyn Fritz, Belleville, IL.; daughter-in-law, Angela K. Voelker, Frisco, TX. Mom was like a rose…May she rest in a blanket of tranquility and may peace fill her soul. Her cremated remains will be inurned with Robert (Bob) at DFW VA Cemetery, Dallas, TX. Mom missed him for 22 years and they deserve a final reservation – a cabin for two aboard the cruise ship Eternity.
