Dear Karen & Family, So sorry for the loss of your Mom. Thinking of her takes us back to the days we used to run around together and how welcome we always felt with your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
God Bless you all.
It was so good to have known and worked with your mom. Those were wonderful days, and your mom was very much a part of the DFS spirit.
I am forever blessed to had the chance to gotten to know Flo. Our joined meetings, trips through Civitan and personal occasions were so memorable, just to listen how Flo reflected on her live and others. Flo shared in my recent marriage/reception, frail & sick, but mighty in spirit. Her words "I would not miss this special day for nothing". What stood out about Flo, she looked and recognized beyond the person and her persistence. Thank you Flo for touching mine and my family's life. God Bless Marty, Karen, Susan & Family!
I can't believe that Flo has left us, but I know that she is in peace now. This was just her "temporary home." She has been a part of our lives for so long that I can't imagine not seeing her across the table at our next meeting or sitting in my living room at our next family celebration or Civitan party. As I sing to Matthew every night, "Though some go before us, we'll all meet again just inside the city as we enter in. There'll be no more parting. In Jesus we'll be together forever-God's family."
IT WAS SUCH A THRILL TO SEE FLO AND KAREN AND SUSAN AT OUR DALLAS FEDERAL SAVINGS REUNION OF FORMER EMPLOYEES LAST NOVEMBER. GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS AND WONDERFUL WAYS TO BRING OLE FRIENDS TOGETHER ONE MORE TIME! FLO WAS STILL THE FUN UPBEAT POSITIVE PERSON I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER TO BE .( EVEN THO SHE WAS FACING SERIOUS SURGERY IN THE DAYS AHEAD. ) SHE WAS SUCH A CARING FRIEND AND WE ENJOYED THOSE YEARS IN IRVING AND DALLAS FEDERAL TOGETHER SHARING MANY FRIENDS IN COMMON THROUGHOUT THE CITY AND OUR CHURCHES EVEN THO DIFFERENT DENOMINATIONS . SHE WAS LOVED BY SO MANY EMPLOYEES , CUSTOMERS AND FRIENDS THERE. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW STRONG IN HER CHRISTIAN FAITH SHE WAS AT THE SUDDEN LOSS OF MARVIN AND HOW CONCERNED SHE SEEMED ABOUT THEIR CHILDREN OVER HERSELF . WHAT A GREAT CIVIC SERVANT SHE WAS WITH ALL THE CIVITAN POSITIONS SHE READILY TOOK ON AND ACCOMPLISHED SO WELL. SHE AND I SHARED THE SAME BIRTHDAY ( APRIL 21) BUT SHE WOULD NEVER ADMIT THAT SHE WAS ONE YEAR OLDER -CALLING ME HER "SENIOR" !!!! WE WILL MISS THOSE FRIENDLY THO OCCASSIONAL UPDATES ON EACH OTHERS FAMILIES- ESPECIALLY ON APRIL 21.CHRISTIAN LOVE TO ALL THE FAMILY. SAM AKINS
God Bless. I have so many happy memories growing up in and around the Senstock household. Flo was a second mom to me in those early years. Warm loving memories. Gary King
Flo possessed a ready smile and "can do" attitude that made her a pleasure to work with at Dallas Federal Savings. My sincere condolences to her family.
I will miss Flo and her sense of humor, her beautiful choir voice, the wonderful memories of the Kirkwood Youth Group and trying to keep us all out of trouble. I love you Flo
We love Auntie Flo so very much. She had such a big heart. She can rest now and join Dad in heaven. We will miss her dearly. There is one more angel above us! With lots of love to the family.
