Floy Janelle Schmidt's Obituary
SCHMIDT, FLOY JANELLE, born March 28, 1939 and passed away March 18, 2007. Janelle is survived by her husband, Bobby Schmidt; sons, Steve and Dennis; daughters, Katherine Godwin and Janice Picard; grandchildren, Shannon Schmidt, Shane Schmidt, Janine Godwin, Graham Godwin, Hayden Picard and Brooke Picard; brother, Maurice Beck; and sister, Patsy Ruth Hall. She was fully active in her children’s lives, planning summer vactions, camping, and various other sports and activities. She volunteered her time at the church to aid with Braille work. Janelle loved to sew as well as other types of crafts. She enjoyed sailing as a member of The Venture Sailing Club of Dallas. Janelle will be greatly missed by all. Donations can be made to The Susan G. Koman Foundation, 500 S. LBJ Fwy. Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 from 6:30 – 8:00 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 11:00 Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Messiah Lutheran.
