Floyd "WIL" DAVIDSON JR's Obituary
Floyd Wilburn Davidson, Jr peacefully departed this life, surrounded by his family, to his eternal rest on 13 Apr 2023, at 89 years old. He was born in Blytheville, AR 26 Jun 1933. The family moved to the Dallas area in the mid 1940’s. Floyd was proceeded in death by his parents Floyd Sr. and Elenora McCauley Davidson, wife Jimmie O’Barr Davidson, grand son Michael Young, granddaughter Angela Davidson, daughter Debbie Meeks, brother Cleburn Davidson, and sister Sharrie Davidson. Floyd was retired from the City of Dallas Parks Dept. where was a District Supervisor in charge of The State Fair Park for several years. Floyd was a Korean War Army veteran, who had been assigned the 1st Cav. from 1950-1953. Floyd is survived by his wife Arvella Davidson, sons Dale and Lindel Davidson and their families, daughters Fay and Cindy Davidson and their families, sister Ruth Rosenberg and her family, brothers Charles and Larry Davidson and their families, sister-in-law Wanda Davidson and her family. There are 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
