Forrest L. Ende's Obituary
ENDE, FORREST L, 89, was born in Cumby, TX on July 23, 1922, to John and Hester Wilson. Following an extended illness, she passed away in Austin, TX at 6:30 PM on September 22, 2011. She preceded in death by her husband, William E, Ende. She was a graduate of Greenville High School and a loyal employee of Kraft Foods, Garland, as an ingredient procurer for approximately 35 years, retiring in 1982. Following retirement, she relocated to Austin, TX and spent most of her declining years there, returning to Garland intermittently. Her last seven years in Austin she was attended by her loving caregivers Shirley Montgomery and Shirley’s deceased brother, Charles Rowlen She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Olive S. Ende, her nephew, Charles F. Ende, her niece, Carla F. Maze and Carla’s children, along with a multitude of friends in Austin and Garland. She became a precious friend to everyone she met, especially Larry and Judy Grisham and Fern and Jim Cook. And to know her was to love her. She was a member of Highland Oaks Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Sunday at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM, Monday at Restland Abbey Chapel.
