SCOTT, Foster Philip was born 06/22/1925 in Gainesville, TX and passed away 01/08/2013 in Dallas, TX.He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Davis Scott and son, Philip Warren Scott.Foster is survived by his daughter, Susan Banes; son-in-law, Tom Banes; grandson, Scott Banes; granddaughter, Diana Pyndus; and four great-grandsons. Foster served in the Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII. He later served in the Naval Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant in 1986. He was graduated from SMU in 1949 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He retired from the FAA in 1987. Foster was active in the Masons and Shriners for many years. A simple gathering will be held on Tuesday, 01/15/2013 at 11:00 AM at Restland Funeral Home, Stateroom ST. We plan to share remembrances of Foster and console one another. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
