Foy Elmo Boone's Obituary
BOONE, FOY ELMO Born August 14, 1913 in Portales, NM and passed away August 26, 2008 in Garland, TX. Foy married Mildred Johnson and she preceded him death in August of 1985. He then married Sarah Crites, she also preceded him in death in 2007. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Dairy Manufacturing in 1938. Foy was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ where he served as an elder and deacon for many years in the Garland congregations. He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Boone and wife Connie, of Garland, Bill Boone of Nacogdoches; daughter, Barbara Bateman of Azle; stepsons, Rusty Crites and wife, Pam of Coppell, Randy Crites and wife, Cindy, of Mesquite; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
