Frances Sharon Clark
On Wednesday, December 9, 2020, Frances Sharon Clark, loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother left this earth to be with our Father in Heaven at the age of 76.
Sharon was born on July 11, 1944 in Dallas Texas to Ernest and Frances Harwell. She graduated from Crozier Technical High school in Dallas Texas in 1962. She worked for Republic Insurance for 25 years followed by First Baptist Church of Dallas where she worked in the nursery until she retired in 2006. Sharon married James Weldon Clark on June 24, 1972 and had a son John Weldon on January 3, 1983.
For all of those that knew her, you know that Sharon cared deeply for all. She loved her siblings dearly and looked forward to any and all family gatherings, especially the family and Christmas reunion’s. Christmas was her absolute favorite time of the year. She loved having her granddaughters over to decorate her house and tree and to help wrap all the gifts that she bought throughout the year. Sharon also had a passion for children. She loved being able to help care for her nieces and nephews and throughout the years her great nieces and nephews, followed by her three granddaughters. Sharon came from a very large and loving family and this was evident in how she lived her life. Sharon journaled frequently about life, her family and world events. She often wrote letters to her siblings within these journals, both to those still here and to those who had gone before her. Sharon loved those around her and those who had gone before her fiercely. She truly had a heart of gold.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents William Ernest and Hazel Frances Harwell, brother’s Kenneth Harwell, Troy Harwell, Rex Harwell, and Danny Edward Harwell, sister’s Taffie Lee Green, Margie Lynn Gibson, Annette Blakeney and daughter Ara Renee.
