I am free, praise the Lord, I’m free; No longer bound – no more chains holding me. My soul is resting, it’s just a blessing. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah -I’m free. Ms. Frances E. Gilbreath, 85, slipped peacefully from this life on Monday, Apri16, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on November 26, 1929 to Blanche and Ernest Walling of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Leonard A. Gilbreath. She was an independent woman who remained devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frances was a member of Calvary Baptist church in Seagoville, TX. She worked as the General Manager for Star Chemical until her retirement in 1996. She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories: Her brother, Ernest Walling of Tulsa, OK; four loving children; daughter, Linda Wilson of Dallas, Texas; three sons, Alton Gilbreath and wife, Cindy of Adelanto, CA; Ernie Gilbreath and wife, Becky of Kansas City, MO; Billy Gilbreath and wife, Sondra of Garland, TX; seven grandchildren, and nine-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The visitation for Frances will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Frances will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 10, 2015 in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
