Frances Green's Obituary
Frances Lucille (Thamert) Green, 73, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2013 at The Integrity Transitional Hospital of Denton after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 26, 1940 in Fargo, N.D. She was married to the late James Warren Thamert. She leaves behind two sons, Ron Thamert and Steven Thamert; and two daughters, Sandra (Thamert) Green and Sharon Thamert. Frances has six grandchildren; Stephanie Thamert, Kristoffer Thamert, and Allen Jones of the Gulf Coast, MS area; Bonnie Brown of Austin, TX; Vicki Quinn of Sacramento, CA and Brendan Green of Plano, TX. Frances received her Master’s degree in Social Work at the age 40 and has been working at Timberlawn Health Services in Dallas, TX for the past 8 years. Prior to living in TX, she lived in Gulfport, MS where she worked as a Social Worker for over 10 years at a rehab center. She dedicated her life to helping others. She loved to eat and try all sorts of new foods and restaurants. She enjoyed taking long walks, working out at the gym, and attending the church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Restland Wildwood Chapel.
