I first met Fran almost 60 years ago when I became friends with her daughter, Francene. I was at their house quite often so was able to see the sweet, funny side of Fran. I also thought she was the most glamorous and elegant woman I had ever met. I still feel that way. Although we didn't get to see much of each other over the years, we still communicated and had love for one another. Although her family and friends will miss her terribly . . .
