Frances Darlene Kennington's Obituary
Frances Darlene (Pickens) Kennington was born September 7, 1921 in DeKalb, Texas and passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Samuel and Annie May Pickens; husband William Woodrow; son Jeffery; two brothers, Billy and Edgar; and three sisters, June Crawford, Betty Hannagan, and Helen Hanley. She is survived by her son, Richard and wife Mary Beth, daughter-in-law, Carolyn; four grandchildren, Cathy, Chaz, John, and David; and three great grandchildren. Frances was a beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and all around fine woman. She was always cheerful and upbeat so people enjoyed being with her. Frances was cherished by her family and friends, and at the age of 94 was ready to be with her Lord. Service was held at First Baptist Church with Pastor Dave Cash officiating on December 5, 2015 at 10:00 am., with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Malvern, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Malvern, Arkansas.
