Frances E. Langford's Obituary
Frances Elizabeth Langford passed away the morning of May 2, 2021 at 91 years of age. She was born to W. E. (Red) Embry and Flora Mae Tillery Embry in Dallas, Texas November 21, 1929.
Frances graduated from Forest Avenue High School. After graduation, she went to work as a key punch operator and worked for various companies in Dallas eventually working for Gifford Hill and Willis Rollinson. Frances had many and varied interest including traveling, music, gardening and lake life. She was a member of the Hampton Road Baptist Church Ladies Bible Class in Desoto, Texas.
Frances is survived by her sister Laura Sheffield of Sarepta, LA and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Darrell Langford, daughter Lana Kay Langford; father, Red Embry, mother Flora Embry brothers; Jack Embry, James Embry, Sam Embry and Pete Embry; and sisters; Margaret Hillis, Juanita Doyle, Christine Lewis and Annette Freeman.
Graveside service will be Saturday May 8, 2021 at 2:30 PM Restland–Fountain View section
