Born 2/11/25 in Beaumont, Texas to Judge William T. and Lois McElheny McNeill. Graduated from Beaumont High School in 1942; received Associate of Arts Degree from Lamar University, Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Texas (Austin), 1946. Retired Assistant Librarian, Upper School Library, The Hockaday School. Member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority Alumnae; Chapter DX, P. E. O. Sisterhood; P. E. O. Council Chorus; and held many offices in the Walnut Hill Methodist Church. Survived by daughter, Cathy Anne Carrell Parker, Houston; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Kirk, Denton; granddaughters Jaclyn Anne and Mikala Rae Carrell, Denton; brother and sister-in-law William Alan and Barbara McNeill, Beaumont; sister-in-law Cretha Carrell, Dallas; mother-in-law Annice Carrell, Dallas; several nieces and nephews and numerous McNeill and McElheny cousins. Services held at Walnut Hill United Methodist Church, 10066 Marsh Lane, Dallas, TX 75229, 3PM, Friday, July 3, 2015 with visitation/gathering held one hour prior. Interment services Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX. 75243. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
