Frances Yvonne Parks (Boyle)'s Obituary
Frances "Yvonne" Parks (Boyle) passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 97 from natural causes. Yvonne was born on October 17, 1923 in Fresno, CA to the late Frank and Daisy Boyle. She met, and later married, Milton J. Parks (deceased) in Santa Ana, CA on November 6, 1943. They later moved to Dallas, where their daughter was born. Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Y. Coborn of Plano; granddaughter and her husband, Stacy and Shannon Trimble of Rockwall, TX; grandson, Sean Coborn of Boise, ID. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Tucker Trimble.
Yvonne was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Dallas for over 60 years. She was very active in the Women of the Church, Circle 9, and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a member of the Allman Class. Yvonne was also a member of the Greenway Garden Club, Bay View Century Club, and also spent many years working the apparel market for the Henry Lee Showroom.
Yvonne enjoyed traveling the world with Milton. She also enjoyed many hours of needlework and other crafts. She loved attending her grandkids' activities, her card games with friends and weekly "Lunch Bunch" get together. Her great humor and infectious laugh will be missed by everyone. Although dementia robber her of her memory, her sense of humor lasted until the end.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Prestonwood Court Assisted Living and Memory Care in Plano, Texas, and Dallas Hospice for the excellent care Yvonne received. A graveside service for the family will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Organization for research funding at alzfnd.org
