Frances Elizabeth Skelton's Obituary
SKELTON, FRANCES ELIZABETH MCCALLUM born September 3, 1932 in Dallas, Texas and passed away June 28, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Duncan McCallum and Emily Elizabeth McCallum, and by her brothers, Jack, James and Wilmer. Frances is survived by her husband of sixty one years, Paul Eugene Skelton, Sr.; her two sons, Paul Skelton, Jr. and wife Jann and by John Skelton and wife Ann. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Emily Jann Skelton Wilkinson and Eleanor Ruth Skelton Nation; four great-grandchildren, Allison Wilkinson, Marissa Wilkinson, Ranger Nation and Ella Nation and a nephew and two nieces, Dick McCallum, Nancy McCallum Sakowski and Lisa McCallum Williams. She will be remembered by her family and by all who knew her well to be a grace-filled individual with a humble spirit and a willingness to champion the disadvantaged. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. The service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Highland Oaks Church of Christ, Plano campus, 1815 W 15th Street, Plano, Texas. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Care Centers, Mesquite, Texas.
