Mrs. Frances Burlingame Unruh's Obituary
UNRUH, FRANCES BURLINGAME, Born July 8, 1923 to George and Marion Burlingame of Brownsville, Texas and passed away Saturday afternoon, May 12, 2007 in Baylor Richardson Regional Hospital, Richardson, TX. She became a member of the Presbyterian Church at the age of ten and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over sixty years. Frances was active in Campfile Girls and Boy Scouts for several years while her children were growing up. She loved reading, sewing, gardening and traveling with her husband and family. Frances is preceded in death by her husband Elmer A. Unruh. She is survived by her brother Melvin Burlingame; by her children, Sue Unruh, Ron Unruh, Don Unruh and his wife Linda; by her granddaughters, Jennifer Unruh Baker along with her husband Mark, and Kimberley Unruh; and by her great-grandson Elmer James Unruh.Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:30 Wednesday May 16, 2007 at Wildwood Chapel. Memorials may be made to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn Street Dallas, TX 75219.
