Frances Earllene White's Obituary
Earllene Francis White, our beloved family anchor and matriarch, born September 17, 1929, in Whitsboro, Texas, left her earthly body to go to her eternal home Sunday, September 13, 2020. She was lovingly surrounded by her family and friends at her home while awaiting her departure to be with her Creator and Lover of her soul. She served faithfully in her life career at National Cash Register before retiring. Her home was always a harbor and place of unconditional love and open to support and care for family, friends and even strangers in need. In all that knew her she left foundations of support that bring purpose and joy for their own life journeys. She loved her Lord and Savior, faithfully shepherded her children, and took them to church every opportunity she could to instill in them their own love for Jesus Christ. She resided in Dallas with her husband, James Harvey White, Sr., nearly 50 years. Earlene was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Hall, sister, Jackie Shaw, and son, Gary Howdeshell. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James Harvey White, Sr.; sons, James Larry Howdeshell and his wife Debbie, and James White, Jr. and his wife Peggy; five grandchildren, Greg Howdeshell, Brandi Howdeshell, Stevie Howdeshell Glass, Maria Howdeshell Blalock, and Christy Sowell; ten great grandchildren, Leslie, Julia, Amy, and Laura Laudani, Audra and Jon Glass, Harper Blalock, and Caleb, Abby, and Abram Sowell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Lake Highlands Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Celebration will be preceded by a visitation at 10 a.m.Graveside services will be held at Rock Creek Cemetery in New Boston, Texas at 3:30 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Lake Highlands Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas.
