Francis Gordon "Chuck" Taylor's Obituary
89, of Hideaway Lake, Texas, passed away, Monday, November 18, 2015 at his home. Chuck was born March 18, 1926 in Bainbridge, Georgia to John and Martha Taylor. He served in the navy during World War II and the Korean War. Chuck was a graduate of George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He married Margaret Ann (Ann) Richards in 1950 in Dallas. Chuck was employed by Sun Oil Company in Dallas. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed watching sports, ballroom dancing, playing bridge and spending time with his family and friends. He was a very loving husband, father and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Virginia and Beth and brothers Bud, Warren, and Damon. Chuck is survived by wife Ann of Hideway Lake, Texas, his son, John Robert “Bob” Taylor and his wife Janie of Frisco, Texas, his daughter, Terri Ann Taylor Ainley and her husband Mike of Carmel, Indiana; four grandchildren, Eric and Angie Taylor and Brian and Sarah Ainley, and one great grandson, Hudson Taylor. Graveside services will be held at 2:00, November 23rd at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Memorial donations can be made to charities of donors’ choice.
