Francisco Javier Hernandez's Obituary
Francisco Javier Hernandez, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away on May 2, 2026, in Carrollton, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, brother-in-law, friend, and colleague.
Francisco was born on December 3, 1987, in San Miguel, El Salvador, to Pablo Hernandez and Adela Hernandez. He graduated from Creekview High School and held various jobs throughout his life, most recently specializing as a heavy vehicle mechanic. He had a natural talent for fixing anything —no matter the problem, you just tell him what was wrong and with a smile and calm confidence, he would say, “I know what it is, I can fix it, just go buy the parts” a phrase that will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved him. Francisco was a very intelligent and kind-hearted man; anyone who met him quickly grew to love him.
Above all, Francisco’s greatest joy in life was his children. He loved them deeply and treasured every moment spent with them, whether it was sharing laughter, playing video games, or simply being together.
Francisco is survived by his parents, Pablo Hernandez and Adela Hernandez; mother of his children Monica Payan, his sisters, Josefina Hernandez and Yesenia Owens Hernandez; his twin brother, Pablo A. Hernandez; his beloved children, Sabrinah Hernandez, Isaac Hernandez, and Isabella Hernandez. He is also survived by his nieces, Katherine Benitez, Yaretzi Hernandez, Alexa Benitez, and Zadie Hernandez; his nephew, Alexander Valladares; his aunts, Elvira Manzanares, Esther Amador, Rosa Angelica Manzanares, Matilde Fuentes, Dinora Fuentes, Tomasa Fuentes, and Milagros Escobar; and his uncles, Jose Manzanares, Luis Manzanares, Lorenzo Fuentes, Basilio Hernandez, Juan Fuentes, Jose L. Hernandez.
He is further survived by his brothers-in-law, Dwight Owens and Jose Benitez; his sister-in-law, Yaradely Martinez; and numerous extended family members, including many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Francisco was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fernando Hernandez, Evangelina Fuentes, Luis Amador, and Teresa Manzanares; as well as his uncle, Pedro Manzanares, and Ana Ruth Fuentes.
