Frank C. Phillips' Obituary
Frank C. Phillips was born on February 1, 1925 in Cooper, Texas (Delta County) and passed away on January 15, 2017 in Arlington, Texas. Frank was a WWII veteran, served in the Army from November 16, 1943 to February 20, 1946 (WWII Asiatic-Pacific Campaign) as a Medical Staff Sargent. Preceded in death by wife, Truby E. Phillips; father, John Cidney Phillips; mother, Louada Bell (Manes), six sisters, and five brothers. He is survived by daughter, Sue (Phillips) Williams of Grand Prairie, TX; sons, Bobby Phillips of Crossroads, TX, Jerry Phillips of Topeka, Kansas, James Phillips of Rockwall, TX, David Phillips of Union Valley, TX; one son-in-law, four daughter-in-laws, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. Service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2:30 PM in the Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in memory of Frank C. Phillips.
